About the Research Sub-Committee
Research is a pursuit integral to progress in any society. Its creative potential is immense and has been instrumental in bringing about constructive change in societies in innumerable ways. Research, as an organized and systematic exercise, has been contributing to bring humanity closer to relevant knowledge that meaningfully benefits the society. SBSS Mahavidyalaya is committed to cultivating a meaningful research environment and expanding its benefit to the larger society. The college has institutionalized a Research Sub-Committee to specifically focus on various areas of research.
<h5>Basic Objective of the Research Sub-Committee</h5>
<ul>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Promote and coordinate multidisciplinary research in the college</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Encourage faculty to engage in research in their respective fields, and thereby enable an efficient exchange of knowledge and ideas with the student community</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Motivate and conduct workshops on research methodology for students and faculty</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Paper presentations in college by students to be encouraged</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Create an environment in the campus to promote collaborative research among faculty and students from various departments</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Develop educational collaborations with industry, other colleges, Universities and institutions of higher learning</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Create an academic culture that follows sustainable research works</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Create awareness among the members of the faculty about conducting research that is original and authentic
